Where do the prayer times come from?
From the official service of Türkiye's Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) for every district in Türkiye. Abroad, the app uses the times of the Diyanet city closest to you.
Is VakitApp free?
Yes, it's free to download and use; the free version shows banner ads on some screens. Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase: no ads, all adhan sounds, premium themes and icons, 25 locations and iCloud sync. The Pro Plus monthly subscription adds 45/60-minute reminders and up to 6 months of offline times.
Does the alarm ring when my phone is on Silent?
Yes. Suhoor and prayer alarms ring full screen even in Silent mode or with Focus on, and you can snooze them. Turn them on in Settings › Alarms; iOS 26 or later is required.
Does it work offline?
Downloaded prayer times are kept on your device, so you can see them without a connection. With Pro Plus you can download up to 6 months ahead.
Which languages does it support?
English, Deutsch and Türkçe. Some content, such as hadiths, duas, the Risale-i Nur library and Cevshen, is currently available in Turkish only.
How do I manage my subscription?
Manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. To restore a purchase, use Restore in the app with the same Apple Account.
