VakitApp Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use VakitApp. By downloading and using the app, you agree to them. Downloads and purchases from the App Store are also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
1. The service
VakitApp offers prayer times, a countdown, a monthly timetable, the Qibla direction, notifications and alarms, widgets and similar helpful features. Features may be updated, changed or removed over time.
2. Accuracy of information
Prayer times and other information come from sources such as the service of Türkiye's Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet). We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information. Even so, some information may be incomplete, delayed or wrong because of your internet connection, device settings, time zone, location accuracy, third-party outages or technical errors. Where it matters, check it against official or local sources.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your device's date, time, time zone and location settings correct. Notification permissions and sound choices are also under your control. You agree to use the app only for lawful, personal purposes and not to disrupt it or try to gain unauthorized access. In Shared Khatm, don't use names that infringe others' rights or are inappropriate.
4. Free and paid features
Part of the app is free. Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase. Pro Plus is a monthly auto-renewable subscription. Prices are shown in the app, and payment is charged to your App Store account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage and cancel it in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's rules.
5. Ads
The free version shows ads on some screens through third-party providers. Advertisers are responsible for the content of their ads. When you interact with an ad or link, that third party's terms apply.
6. Notifications and alarms
Notifications, reminders and alarms depend on your permissions, system settings, Silent mode, Focus and battery state. They are therefore not guaranteed to arrive on time or without interruption.
7. Location and device features
Some features require location, compass or notification access. If you don't grant it, those parts may work in a limited way.
8. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the app's design, software, images, text and sounds belong to the developer or the respective rights holders. You receive a limited licence for personal use only. You may not copy, distribute, commercially exploit or reverse engineer the app or its content.
9. Third-party services
Some features rely on third-party services. Outages, changes or discontinuation of these services may affect parts of the app.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is given that it will work without interruption or errors. The developer is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app, including data loss, missed notifications, incorrect prayer times or problems caused by device settings.
11. Changes and discontinuation
These terms may be updated. The current version takes effect when it is published on this page. The developer may change, suspend or discontinue part or all of the app for maintenance, security or technical reasons.
